2. Website and server logs

When you visit the website, the server processes technical access data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information and status codes. This is required to deliver the website, maintain security and analyze errors.

3. Support form

When you use the support form, we store your name, email address, topic, message, language, technical browser information and IP address. We use this information to process your request and ask follow-up questions.

4. App backend and device access

The app may transmit installation ID, manufacturer account email, home, zone and device data, live status, scenes, automations, logs and technical states to the AirPilot backend. A compatible manufacturer account may be required so AirPilot Home can read device data and send control commands.

Credentials or tokens are processed only where required for connection and control. Server-side secrets are stored encrypted.

5. Statistics and sensor data

When statistics are enabled, AirPilot Home stores aggregated measurements per zone. This may include indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, air quality, active mode, active scene, light sensor state and other available device data.

6. Apple Home and weather data

Optional Apple Home sensors can be used to determine temperature and humidity per zone more precisely. Weather data may be processed for outside values and automation decisions.

7. App Store, purchases and push notifications

For App Store purchases, AirPilot Home may transmit purchase and entitlement information to the backend to unlock Pro features. Push notifications are used only if you allow them in the app.

8. Legal bases and retention

Processing is carried out to provide the app, fulfill contractual obligations, handle support requests, secure the service and based on legitimate interests. Data is stored only as long as required for these purposes or legal obligations.

9. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
